Somerset

The site is the former rear garden of a cottage in a central village location.  The client had obtained planning permission to construct a new dwelling in the rear yard.  We prepared a different design, that maximised the potential of the site, the long range views and sunlight, and gained planning permission.  This new house in Somerset has large areas of glazing on the south and west elevations to maximise the views and is on two levels to suit the sloping site.
